About
🌍 Szeged, Hungary
My photography journey began when I was 19 and applied for my very first “real” job.
A small local magazine posted an opening for a photographer. I applied right away — even though I didn’t own a proper camera. Unless you count those early-2000s pocket cameras we all used to take terrible flash selfies in the mirror.
Still, something about that job spoke to me. And, by some miracle, I got it.
That was the first time I held a Nikon DSLR in my hands. I started shooting local events, and I instantly fell in love with photography.
In later jobs, photography remained one of my main tasks — especially event photography. But over time, I realized that events were too stressful for me. I discovered I’m at my best when I can shoot freely, without pressure — capturing the city, strangers, little moments in nature — anything that holds a feeling, a certain mood.
That’s what I still do today, as one of my most cherished hobbies.
📸 About my gear
My first ever camera was a Nikon D3400, which I later swapped for a Canon 6000. But in recent years, I’ve realized that for the kind of photography I love, I need something compact — a camera that’s light, flexible, and lets me play with perspective.
So, in a way, I downgraded my gear — and now shoot with a bridge camera: the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ300.
And I love it. It may not be perfect, but it fits my visual style better than anything else ever did - limitations and all.
